EASY HEALTHY VEGAN SNACK IDEA'S

RECIPE 1: VEGAN TZATZIKI BITES 

Ingredients

*4 ounces vegan cream cheese (room temperature)
*3 ounces coconut or other plant-based yogurt 
*1 1/2 tbsp fresh minced dill
*1/2 of a lemon, juiced 
*1/2 tbsp of "everything bagel" seasoning 
*Salt & pepper to taste 
*To serve: cucumber slices or crackers, cherry tomatoes, hemp seeds and sesame seeds 

Directions

1. Whisk all ingredients for tzatziki spread until smooth and thick. 
2. Serve on sliced cucumber or crackers of choice. Top with sliced cherry tomatoes, hemp seeds and sesame seeds.

RECIPE 2: MANGO SALSA 

Ingredients

*2 ripe mango's, diced 
*1 red bell pepper, diced 
*1/2 red onion, diced 
*3 tablespoons cilantro, finely minced 
*1 jalapeño pepper, diced 
*1 lime, juice
*Salt and pepper to taste 
*To serve: ripe avocados or tortilla chips 

Directions

1. Mix together diced mango, diced bell pepper, diced onion, minced cilantro, diced jalapeño pepper, lime juice and salt & pepper. Mix thoroughly to allow flavors to combine. 
2. If using avocados, slice open and remove pit. Stuff cavities of avocado with mango salsa. Or, serve with tortilla chips.
3. Store leftover salsa in an airtight container in the fridge.

RECIPE 3: PROTEIN PEANUT BUTTER SPREAD 

Ingredients

*1/2 cup almond milk
*4-6 tablespoons plant-based protein powder  
*1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
*1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
*1/2 cup natural peanut butter 
*To serve: apple slices or banana slices 

Directions

1. Whisk together almond milk, protein powder, cinnamon, maple syrup and peanut butter until well incorporated and smooth. The final texture should resemble a thick frosting. 
2. Spread onto apple slices or banana slices.
